“IN THE MOVIE” is a TV21 show dedicated to cinema's power to tell stories, provoke thought and leave a lasting impression. The host is Yavor Todorov – Yavkata DLG, known to audiences as one of Bulgaria's most influential hip-hop artists and lyricists. In this show, Yavkata reveals another side of himself – that of a thoughtful viewer, a fan of good screenwriting and the subtle details that turn a film into art.
Each episode offers reflections, interpretations and curious facts about landmark films from different eras – from timeless classics of world cinema to lesser-known titles that deserve a second chance. “IN THE MOVIE” is not criticism, but an exploration of the messages, symbols and human stories behind the frame.
Yavkata DLG's style is authentic – with his characteristic irony, erudition and artistic instinct. With humor and the perspective of someone who can see beauty in mistakes as well as unexpected moments, each edition becomes a small journey through the world of cinema – personal, entertaining and inspiring at the same time.
The show launched in 2025 and airs every Wednesday at 21:00 on TV21. “IN THE MOVIE” is for those who love not only to watch films, but to understand them.
