“TUTURUTKA” is one of Bulgaria's most beloved and longest-running comedy shows. Created in 1994, it became a symbol of independent humor, self-irony and genuine artistic freedom. Between 1999 and 2002, the iconic show aired on Varna television station MSAT, where it built its loyal audience and a style recognizable from the very first seconds.

For more than a decade, the Tuturutka team made over twenty official proposals to appear on national television, but their real path went through the internet and social media, where the spirit of the show found new life and a new audience. Ivan Cheshmedzhiev and Ventsi Kutsarov created tuturutka.bg, turning it into a home for satire and absurdist Bulgarian humor.

In 2017, they created the unforgettable “Tutur Tour America – with tsarvuli through the Wild West”, visiting Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, Montreal, Boston, New York, Washington, Morrisville, Atlanta, Tampa and Miami – proving that Bulgarian humor knows no borders.

After years online, in the autumn of 2023 “TUTURUTKA” returned to television, now on TV21 – with new energy, fresh ideas and the same authentic spirit that made it a cult part of Bulgarian television history.
